I have played roles in nearly every part of the basketball industry and pioneered my own way to make my basketball dreams a reality. 

 

My work bridges the gap between sports and education, and builds bridges between people across difference. 

 

I am guided by love, a rigorous kind that I continually work to define. That has allowed me to successfully collaborate with all kinds of people globally. My ultimate message is that we need to do the work on our heart-and-mind to live our dreams. It takes a team effort to maximize our unique potential individually, so mastering the practice of love, towards ourselves and others, is essential if we are serious about becoming the best we can be. 

 

At the core of my work is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which involves learning by going and working together to help the subject. Through this lens, playing and coaching has been my instrument to understand the basketball industry, the world, and how I fit in it. According to educational theory, this is the way to do it: putting our heart into becoming the best we can be and helping everyone else do the same.
